Thalidomide survivors can access both the Department of Health and Aged Care’s
Australian Thalidomide Survivors Support Program and the NDIS.
The NDIS will fund reasonable and necessary supports or services based on the NDIS Act.
The Australian Thalidomide Survivors Support Program supports eligible thalidomide survivors to claim support from:
- Extraordinary Assistance Fund (EAF)
- Health Care Assistance Fund (HCAF).
