The NDIA is working with IPA Personnel to create a register of qualified disability support workers who can be deployed locally on a short-term basis to cover potential workforce shortages and critical shifts over the winter months.
Minister for the NDIS the Hon. Bill Shorten MP said that the register would help ensure the continuity of supports for NDIS participants in the event the community is hit with workforce shortages.
