The National Disability Insurance Agency invites current and prospective NDIS participants, their families and carers to attend information sessions to learn about the NDIS supports you can and cannot purchase with your NDIS funds. In these sessions we will provide information about the new definition and rules about NDIS supports. These changes will impact all participants when the new laws come into effect on 3 October 2024. We will deliver information sessions throughout October and November. The NDIA would like to invite students with a disability in Years 9-12, their parents, carers and education professionals, to attend a virtual information session.

On 22 August 2024, the National Disability Insurance Scheme Amendment (Getting the NDIS Back on Track No. (1) Bill 2024 was passed by the Parliament. In these sessions we will deliver an overview of NDIS Bill amendments and provide further information on some of the key changes for providers.

We’ll be at Perth Source Kids Expo on the 26 October (10:00am-4:00pm) & 27 October 2024 (10:00am-3:00pm), to answer questions from the community, participants, and providers about the NDIS.

PACE will eventually replace the NDIA’s current computer system. We want to make sure National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) providers are ready to support participants when participant plans transition to the PACE system.
