When an NDIS participant leaves school, there are a range of pathways and supports that can help them transition smoothly into employment and adult life.
There are three ways to manage your NDIS funding: self-managed, plan-managed, and NDIA (agency) managed. Each option offers a different level of responsibility, flexibility, and support, and you can also combine these across different parts of your plan.
This session will explore how participants can work effectively with NDIS providers, from choosing the right supports to communicating expectations and managing changes so supports work the way they’re intended to.
Employment supports through the NDIS can help participants build skills, find and keep work, and move toward their goals. This session will explain what supports are available, how they work, and how they can be used to support meaningful employment outcomes.
