Getting ready for the 'Let’s talk about work' webinar

On Thursday 21 February the NDIA will host a webinar called 'Let’s talk about work'.

Here’s the five key things you need to know.

1. What is it?

The 'Let’s talk about work' webinar is a FREE online broadcast aimed at delivering information and insights about how participants can include employment supports in their plans. 

Attendees will have the opportunity to think about having work as a goal in their NDIS plan, and understand the types of supports the NDIS can provide to participants to achieve their employment goals.

2. When is it?

Thursday, 21 February 2019 between 2pm to 3pm (AEDT)

3. How do I register?

Visit the eventbrite page (external) and follow the prompts. 

4. How can I join the conversation

You can join the conversation from wherever you are by watching along on the webinar website and asking your questions via live chat.

It's free to watch, includes Auslan interpretation and live captions, and if you can't join on the day the content will be posted to the Webinar page following the event.

The panel will answer as many questions as possible over the hour.  If your question is not answered, you can email it to [email protected]

5. Anything else I need to know?

To ensure you don’t miss a thing, ahead of the broadcast make sure you are connected to the internet and follow these instructions:

To ensure you can watch the webinar on the day, visit the test page (external) to check that you can receive the live stream. If you have trouble with your connection you may want to contact your internet provider.

Open the 'Let's talk about work' webinar page (external) in your internet browser. The green 'Launch Webcast' button will appear about 15 minutes before the event.
