The Government is getting the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) back on track by improving outcomes for participants and ensuring the sustainability of the Scheme for future generations.
Participants will have greater support to make their own decisions about their NDIS journey, with the release of the new Supported Decision Making Policy. This Policy, a result of one of the Agency’s co-design projects, will support and empower participants to take control over this part of their lives.
The Committee endorsed the appointment of Alan Blackwood to replace Jean Cotchin and Jeff Smith to replace Mary Mallett, who both commenced roles with different organisations.
The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) is making changes to the way Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) is funded in properties owned by the Tasmanian Government’s ‘Homes Tasmania’.
