Markets update
The NDIA presented on the recent announcements to Specialist Disability Accommodation, Portal Improvements, Assistive Technology and Home Modification Improvements, and the NDIA role in supporting the transition to the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.
Support Coordination and Plan Management updates
The NDIA gave a briefing on improvements to Support Coordination and Plan Management, including how the NDIA is responding to recommendations made by the Productivity Commission and Disability Reform Council.
NDIA payments strategy
The NDIA gave an outline of their new payments strategy, including the current state of payments, timeframes, and nature of errors causing payment rejection.
COAG Quarterly Report Data
The Scheme Actuary presented highlights from the latest Quarterly Performance data.
Therapy Price Review outcomes and Annual Price Review process
The NDIA gave an overview of the results of the Therapy Pricing Review and rationale for the outcomes of the recent changes to attendant care and community participation supports. Information was also provided about the Annual Price Review process.
Rural and Remote Strategy
The NDIA gave a summary of its work to develop a Rural and Remote Markets Strategy and related Thin Markets project being undertaken in partnership with the Department of Social Services.
