Online Hot Topic School to Adult Life Transition: A journey of self-advocacy within adult health services

This online session is for families and carers of young people with disability attending Years 9 to 12/13 at high school. 

Join our guest speakers Breanna Medcalfe and Loki Bucholz, Amplifying Young Voices Reference Group members and advocates. We will hear from Breanna and Loki about their experience:

• Navigating child to adult health systems with a disability
• Personal journeys to self-advocacy
• The importance of informal supports in transitioning to adult health services

This event is hosted by Carers Queensland. Registrations are welcome from attendees from other states, however we also recommend you check options available locally with your local NDIS Partner in the Community.
