Minister for the National Disability Insurance Scheme, Stuart Robert, today announced the first ever NDIS Participant Employment Strategy–a nation-wide effort to empower NDIS participants with more choice and control through supporting them to succeed in employment opportunities.

The NDIA continues to improve services for children aged 0–6 years with a new pamphlet for parents explaining how and when they can contact an Early Childhood partner.

Minister for the NDIS, Stuart Robert, today released the Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) Design Standard - landmark guidelines that will spur a new era of housing construction and enhancement for Australians with disability. The SDA Design Standard will guide architects, builders and the community as they look for new and better ways to build specialist housing for people with disability.

Following a comprehensive search, the Board of the National Disability Insurance Agency announced today that Mr Martin Hoffman has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer of the NDIA. Mr Hoffman will take up his three year appointment on 4 November, 2019.
