Expressions of Interest open for Pricing Reference Group membership

The NDIA is inviting Expressions of Interest (EOI) for two independent members to join its Pricing Reference Group (PRG).

The PRG provides advice, through the CEO, to the NDIA Board on price control arrangements for the NDIS.

This is to ensure price regulation activities and decisions are coordinated to support the best possible outcomes for NDIS participants during the transition to a competitive marketplace.

The PRG’s Terms of Reference have recently been updated to better reflect the PRG’s role and to support transparency in pricing policy that impacts on the NDIS.

Part of these changes include restructuring the membership to reduce the number of NDIA (employee) representatives to one senior executive (the Chair) and increasing the numbers of independent members from two to five.

The NDIA welcomes Expressions of Interest to fill two vacant independent member positions on the PRG, each for a maximum term of three years.

Independent members will need to demonstrate expertise in one or more of economics, market and/or price regulation, market development, regulatory processes, rural and remote service delivery, consumer advocacy, and experience in the disability sector.

Applicants will also need to identify any potential conflicts of interest and how those conflicts could be managed.

Visit the Pricing Reference Group page for more information including an EOI form and Terms of Reference.

Expressions of interest close 5.00pm AWST Friday 31 January 2020.
