Provision of Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) has improved under reforms announced in February by the Minister for Families and Social Services, Paul Fletcher, and the Assistant Minister for Social Services, Housing and Disability Services, Sarah Henderson.

The Federal Government has announced immediate reforms to boost Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) for eligible NDIS participants.

The NDIA will be hosting the hour-long webinar: ‘Let’s Talk About Work’, on Thursday 21 February 2019.

Assistant Minister for Social Services, Housing and Disability Services, Sarah Henderson will visit Matchworks in Geelong today to present a range of practical changes to help National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) participants with career goals to develop their skills and find work.

New and practical changes to help NDIS participants with career aspirations to find work are kicking in next month, the Federal Government has announced. Minister for Families and Social Services, Paul Fletcher said the NDIS Participant Employment Taskforce he established in November 2018 is now delivering changes that open the way for better employment outcomes.

The NDIA would like to reassure people with disability, their families and carers that any autistic person eligible for the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) will continue to receive the reasonable and necessary supports they need.
