The NSW Government has extended the deadline for disability workers aged 16 years and over who live or work in a local government area (LGA) of concern to receive at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine to attend work.

Minister for the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Senator the Hon Linda Reynolds CSC today announced an expansion of financial payments available to providers supporting NDIS participants to attend COVID-19 vaccination appointments.

The NDIA has released its 2021-25 Corporate Plan. The Corporate Plan is the Agency’s roadmap to deliver a high quality NDIS, with strategic direction, to guide the agency’s work this financial year, and beyond.

The SDA Finder is a new interactive tool that helps participants search for Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) vacancies that meet their needs.

New data shows that the NDIS continues to grow, with the world-first reform now providing disability support to more than 472,000 Australians.
