To increase support for First Nations Australians with disability, the NDIA has engaged the National Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation (NACCHO) to deliver the Aboriginal Disability Liaison Officer (ADLO) program.

The Australian Government and the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) has today announced new and significant changes to NDIS home and living supports, to improve the experience for participants.

The NDIA has published a tender opportunity to deliver the NDIS After Hours Crisis Referral Service (AHCRS) from 1 July 2022. The AHCRS tender will provide funding over 2 to 3 years for a national after hours crisis referral service.

From Monday, 4 April 2022, most NDIS offices will reopen across Australia. This means that participants can resume face-to-face appointments, if they choose to.
