Living with autism, some of William’s biggest challenges are tackling unfamiliar situations and groups of people.
William’s been receiving funding from the NDIS since April 2017 for regular therapies to help him increase his confidence and independence.
Confidence gained through Occupational Therapy has allowed him to pursue his passion of robotics and connect better with his peers.
The 13-year-old has been part of his school robotics group now for two years and has travelled around the state and country for regional, state and national championships.
