Federal Minister for Families and Social Services, Paul Fletcher, and New South Wales Minister for Disability Services, Ray Williams, today announced the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) has reached a major milestone with 100,000 people in NSW now receiving support through the scheme.

Today is International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD), a United Nations sanctioned day aimed at increasing awareness, understanding and acceptance of people with disability, while also celebrating their achievements and contributions.
