Today marks Wear it Purple Day, a national day of celebration to foster supportive, safe, empowering and inclusive environments for rainbow young people. The NDIA is committed to ensuring that people with disability from the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, queer, asexual, sistergirl and brotherboy (LGBTIQASB+) communities have an equal and equitable chance to benefit from the NDIS.

The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) has released the Corporate Plan 2024–2025 in accessible word, PDF and Easy Read formats.

In June 2024, the Australian Government announced a grant round to fund community-based self-advocacy and peer support programs. This Peer Support and Capacity Building grant round has now closed. Thank you to everyone who has shown interest in the Peer Support and Capacity Building grant round.
