Recognised globally on 3 December, International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD) is a United Nations day that aims to raise awareness, understanding and acceptance of people with disability.
To recognise IDPwD this year we asked participants what IDPwD means to them.
In the lead up to IDPwD, we’ll also be sharing the unique perspectives and stories of this year’s ambassadors on our social channels.
You can show support for IDPwD by sharing these stories or highlighting your own using the hashtag #IDPwD.
More information and resources are available on the official IDPwD website
