First Nations Participant Consultation Group meeting summary for 21 May 2026.

New NDIS laws have been passed by Parliament. This means that there are some changes coming to the NDIS to secure it for the long term. Right now, participants can continue using their plans and supports as usual.

From 24 August, the National Contact Centre will be changing its operating hours.

A Victorian man has been arrested after he allegedly defrauded the NDIS of around $700,000 over a two-year period.

A Chester Hill man, 37, was sentenced by the Paramatta District Court yesterday (7 September, 2026) to four years’ imprisonment for his role in a multimillion-dollar fraud against the NDIS and Australian Taxation Office (ATO).
