The NDIS has reached a major milestone with today’s announcement welcoming its 200,000th Australian receiving support through the Scheme.

The Supported Independent Living (SIL) Pack and SIL Quoting Tool have been updated so providers can submit their quotes quickly, easily and accurately.

Territorians with a disability, their carers and providers now have a single, central and accessible NDIS office in Darwin.

The Australian Government established the NDIS Fraud Taskforce in July 2018 to tackle serious fraud against the NDIS. The Taskforce has already identified a small number of providers who may be seeking to exploit the NDIS.

During September some NDIS Participants may be contacted to participate in a survey about their NDIS experience during access, pre-planning, planning or plan review.

Enhancements to the myplace provider portal have now been deployed to improve the participant search function.
