In June 2024, the Australian Government announced a grant round to fund community-based self-advocacy and peer support programs. This Peer Support and Capacity Building grant round has now closed. Thank you to everyone who has shown interest in the Peer Support and Capacity Building grant round.

On 27 March 2024, the Australian Government introduced proposed changes to the NDIS Act to set up the scaffolding needed to start making the NDIS stronger and to improve outcomes for NDIS participants. As part of the proposed legislative amendments to Section 10 of the NDIS Act, Government has developed draft definitions of NDIS Supports which describe what NDIS funding can and cannot be spent on. You can view the draft definitions on DSS Engage. Public consultation is open until 25 August.
