The newly released Specialist disability accommodation 2021-22 quarter 3 report (SDA Q3 report):

The key highlights of this report are:

  • SDA supply continues to trend upwards, particularly in the High Physical Support design category.
  • The largest percentage of participants eligible for SDA and seeking a dwelling are for improved liveability needs.
  • SDA eligibility by primary disability type continues to diversify.
  • This report introduces a new table for the number of equivalent SDA places for residents in the pipeline.  

We have listened to valuable feedback and will continue to, where possible, incorporate feedback received.

Providers, investors and the sector can use these insights, combined with other NDIS data and tools, to help guide decision-making, innovation and growth within the SDA market.

We will continue to develop the release of information and analysis to the market on key features of expected SDA supply and demand.
