Commonwealth, state and territory disability ministers met on Thursday 15 April by telepresence.
Ministers welcomed the new Minister for the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and Minister for Government Services, Senator the Hon Linda Reynolds CSC, as Chairperson.
The focus of the meeting was on the proposed NDIS reforms as well as the National Disability Strategy and coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic response.
Minister Reynolds confirmed she would consult further with state and territory disability ministers and with the disability sector on draft legislation and proposed reforms to the NDIS.
