Changes announced on 23 April 2020 to some Local Area Coordinators (LAC) Partners in NSW are now complete.
We are delighted to advise that of 30 June 2020, the following Partners and service areas have transitioned into full operation:
- Uniting Care – Hunter New England area
- Latrobe – South Eastern Sydney area
- Social Futures – Central Coast area
- Blue Sky – Mid North Coast area
- Intereach – Murrumbidgee area.
The above Partners are now fully supporting participants in these service areas and will continue the great work they have always undertaken.
The transition of Settlement Services International (SSI) will continue through to 30 September 2020. We will continue to work with St Vincent de Paul (The Society) as they progressively transition work across to SSI.
A large number of LACs from The Society have moved across to the incoming Partners during the recruitment phase, providing our participants with continuity of service. Securing an LAC workforce with extensive knowledge and skills is a terrific start for our incoming LAC Partners in the Community.
We acknowledge and appreciate the support of The Society and the efforts of our incoming Partners throughout this transition.
