NDIS Fraud Taskforce

Property and luxury vehicles worth an estimated $340,000 have been forfeited to the Commonwealth following an investigation by the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Fraud Taskforce.

The NDIS Fraud Taskforce is a multi-agency partnership between the Australian Federal Police (AFP), the NDIA and Services Australia, with a focus on high risk and serious criminal activity targeting the NDIS

Fraud is a crime. The NDIA has zero tolerance for fraud against the NDIS and its participants. Participants, their families and carers should feel confident that even in this very challenging time for our nation, the Agency is preventing, detecting, and responding to fraud.

Criminal behaviour will always be investigated to the full extent of the law and perpetrators have and will continue to be prosecuted.

Anyone with concerns that fraud is being committed against the NDIS should contact the NDIS fraud hotline on 1800 650 717, or email [email protected].
