Community organisations invited to support delivery of the NDIS in New South Wales

The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) is seeking suitable organisations to partner with the NDIA to deliver the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) through Local Area Coordination (LAC) services in New South Wales.

The Partners in the Community (PITC) Program engages experienced and qualified organisations, with strong local knowledge and understanding of the needs of people with disability or developmental delay, to work with the NDIA to deliver the NDIS in communities across Australia.

LAC services help people with disability aged seven and over to access supports in their local communities, as well as supporting participants along their NDIS pathway.

The PITC Program Grant Round NSW LAC is seeking Partners in the following New South Wales Services Areas:

  • Central Coast
  • Far West
  • Hunter New England
  • Illawarra Shoalhaven
  • Mid North Coast
  • Murrumbidgee
  • Nepean Blue Mountains
  • North Sydney
  • Northern NSW
  • South Eastern Sydney
  • South Western Sydney
  • Southern NSW
  • Sydney
  • Western NSW
  • Western Sydney

The PITC Program Grant Round NSW LAC excludes some areas classified as remote or very remote. The NDIS will deliver the NDIS in these areas in line with the NDIA’s Rural and Remote Strategy.

The PITC Program Grant Round NSW LAC is now open. Given the impact of the NSW bushfires, the closing date has been extended by one week to 2pm AEDT, Thursday 28 November 2019. For further information visit the Funded projects page. Registrations are through GrantConnect
