International Women’s Day

International Women's Day is an important global day to celebrate the social, economic, cultural and political achievements and contributions of women.

To mark this day, the National Disability Insurance Agency would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the significant contributions women have made, and continue to make, to the NDIS.

The Scheme is supporting more than 84,000 Australian women with disability to achieve their goals, with many more benefiting from increased inclusion and opportunities in their communities.

Women have been a driving force behind the Scheme since its inception, and now make up 74.7 per cent of our workforce with 48 per cent of the Agency’s senior executive positions held by women.

We are committed to gender equality and we aim to be an employer of choice for women and women with disability, providing equal opportunities for all staff – regardless of their gender identity.
