National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) participants, providers and the wider disability community are invited to have their say on NDIS pricing, as part of this year’s Annual Pricing Review.
The review will consider whether current pricing arrangements are providing access to quality supports and services and if any changes are needed for the 2027-28 financial year.
The National Disability Insurance Agency's (NDIA) review will consider participant outcomes as well as provider viability.
The consultation will dive deeper into pricing for some of the most commonly claimed supports: disability support worker-related supports, supported independent living, therapy, social and community participation and support coordination.
NDIS participants are being asked about their provider preferences and their views on quality, value for money and access to NDIS supports.
NDIS providers are being asked about topics such as their workforce, compliance costs, overhead costs and service delivery models.
The consultation will expand on feedback from the last Annual Pricing Review consultation, which attracted nearly 3,000 responses.
Public consultation is an important part of the Annual Pricing Review process. Feedback and insights from this consultation process will be considered when the NDIA is forming recommendations for NDIS prices and pricing arrangements for the 2027-28 financial year.
Consultation opens today and closes on 1 November 2026.
