Quality Supports Therapy pilot commencing

The Quality Supports Therapy pilot has started.

The Therapy Pilot will help the Agency understand what it takes to deliver quality therapy services.

This includes the work required, the types of workers involved, and the results for participants.

Providers will share in up to $20 million of grant funding to work with the NDIA during the 12-month pilot, contributing to NDIA’s future pricing reform.

Participating therapy providers are listed on the Quality supports program.

The Therapy Pilot is one of three pilots in the Agency’s Quality Supports Program. The other pilots focus on Supported Independent Living and Support Coordination.

Together, the pilots will give us evidence to improve pricing so the NDIS can continue to provide high-quality, sustainable supports.

The Therapy pilot results will be looked at with other evidence to help guide future pricing reviews in the NDIA’s Three Year Pricing Workplan (2025–28).
