Dog Guide Provider List launched on NDIS website

The NDIA has created a Dog Guide Provider List to give participants better access to dog guide services and clear provider information.

This list helps participants make informed choices when picking a dog guide provider. It also allows participants, families, and carers to compare providers.

In late 2025, registered providers could apply to join the list.
Seven providers were successful because they met key requirements, including:

  • registration with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission
  • accreditation with the International Guide Dog Federation
  • qualified staff to deliver dog guide services.

The list supports participants with dog guide funding by providing:

  • clear and accessible dog guide and related product information
  • information on dog guide providers who offer transparent terms and conditions and service agreements
  • provider comparison to support informed choice

Participants do not have to use providers on the list. They can stay with their current provider or switch to another one.
