The Rural and Remote Advisory Group met for the second time on 20 June 2025.
The meeting was held online.

Ways of working
The Chair, Ms Fleur Hill, NDIA, General Manager, SA, WA, NT Regional and Remote Services, discussed the role of the Rural Remote Advisory Group.
Ms Hill sought feedback from the group on both the Draft Terms of Reference and the Draft Workplan.
- The Terms of Reference was discussed, including outputs and outcomes to be achieved, confidentiality, conflicts of interest and meeting cadence.
- The Group agreed to a bi-monthly meeting cadence. The Terms of Reference will be updated to reflect this.
- Both Terms of Reference and Workplan were reviewed and endorsed.
Potential membership
Feedback was sought from members on organisations and individuals to be invited to join the Group. The Group welcomed the potential expansion of membership.
The Group also discussed the potential for establishing a lived experience subgroup within the Rural and Remote Advisory Group. The Group agreed that membership within this subgroup will be to provide lived experience expertise and insight to the Group.
