How do I hear about an upcoming webinar?

To find out about upcoming webinars please visit the NDIS website events page, subscribe to the NDIS newsletter, like us on Facebook or follow us on Twitter.

How do I participate in a live webinar?

The webinar can be viewed via a link on the NDIS website events page. This link features information on the webinar topic, host and panel members. We suggest tuning in to the live webinar 15 minutes before the start time. You will be able to test the webcast video and audio during this time.

You can participate in the live webinar in the following ways:

  • View the live webinar, which includes audio, AUSLAN interpretation and live captioning.
  • Submit your questions and comments before/during/after the webinar.
  • Join in the live chat conversation.

How can I ask a question?

We ask that questions remain on topic

Questions or comments for the webinar can be submitted on the live chat feed (found on the webinar link) during the event. Alternatively you can submit your questions via social media using #NDISwebinar.

You can also submit questions ahead of the event by emailing engagement@ndis.gov.au.

What if my question doesn’t get answered?

During the webinar we receive numerous questions form the public. We only answer questions that are on topic. Unfortunately during the short webinar timeslot we are unable to answer all questions that we receive. If your question is not answered please contact us.

Can I watch the webinar later?

Yes, all webinars are recorded and a video and transcript will be made available on our website. Please allow two to four weeks following the event for these to be uploaded onto the NDIS website webinar page.

How do I get the webinar to work?

Step one: go to the NDIS website webinar page.

Step two: click on the link to the live webcast.

Before event time

Step three: click on the test page link to confirm you can revive the live stream and click ‘launch webcast’ on the next page. If you see the video playing your computer is set us correctly, if you do not see a video play, follow the instructions on the page to set up your computer.

At event time

Step three: select the resolution of the live stream you would like to watch (low, medium, HD).

Step four: watch the live webinar and participate in live chat.
