Tasmanian Participant Experience Surveys
From the end of January 2023 you will be offered the option to be surveyed about your experience with the NDIS in Tasmania as you go through your NDIS journey.
Your myNDIS contact will talk to you about the surveys when you meet with them throughout your NDIS journey. You can let your myNDIS contact know how you would like to be contacted to do the survey.
The independent organisation called Australian Healthcare Associates (AHA) will then contact you to do the survey. AHA also carryout our national Participant Satisfaction Surveys.
AHA will send you an email or SMS or call you to do the survey.
The email and SMS from AHA will include a link to the survey, which is hosted by Qualtrics.
If you prefer to do the survey by phone, AHA will call you from one of these numbers: 1300 218 928 or 0488 856 436.
The survey will only take about 5 minutes to complete.
If you have any concerns about the identity of the caller or their purpose, ask for their name, number and type of survey. You can verify this information by calling our National Contact Centre on 1800 800 110.

Focus groups led by Tasmanian advocacy organisations
We’re working with 5 Tasmanian advocacy organisations to collect feedback from participants involved in the NDIS test in Tasmania.
These organisations are running a series of focus groups to hear from Tasmanian participants about their experience in the test.
We want to make sure our new computer system and the improvements it introduces to the participant experience work the way we expect.
If you are in Tasmania, and are part of the NDIS test, you may be contacted by SMS to take part in these focus groups.
We understand you may also be contacted separately by AHA to be surveyed about your experience. The focus group is another opportunity to provide more detailed feedback.
We’re asking you to talk to us about your experience with:
- Your community or early connection plan
- Your meeting with the NDIA planner who approved your plan
- The support from your NDIS partner to apply to the NDIS
- Your plan implementation meeting
- Using the new my NDIS participant portal and recording participant endorsed providers for your NDIS plan
Focus groups will be run from 20 – 22 February to 2023.
