Getting started with the NDIS for families - Sunshine Coast

Carers Queensland is working with the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) to deliver the Local Area Coordination Partner in the Community Program.

Join our friendly Local Area Coordinators who can answer your questions about the NDIS and the LAC program. 

Come along to hear about: 

• how plan reassessments work
• parental responsibilities and NDIS supports working together for your child 
• information around developmental delays and evidence of diagnosis
• other programs and supports Carers Queensland offers
• opportunities to connect with other families. 

We will provide light refreshments so you can meet other families and find out more about Carers Queensland, your LAC Partner in the Community, as well as the other programs we offer for families and unpaid carers.
