Join us for an information session and discovery workshop to learn more about the Be Your Own Boss Program – Microbusiness Program.
Microbusinesses, or businesses that operate on a very small scale, provide a great opportunity for people with disability to earn an income, increase self-confidence and achieve greater independence.
Carers Queensland’s Be Your Own Boss – Microbusiness Program aims to empower, educate and support people with disability to establish or create their own microbusiness.
The information session part of this workshop will provide all details about the program, including business mentoring topics and key dates/times/locations.
It also provides an opportunity for potential program participants to ask questions and assess whether or not this program is suitable for them.
The discovery workshop will form the second part of this event.
This is for people with disability and their carers to workshop potential business ideas and find a direction that is accessible and suitable for them.
By connecting with local business and peer mentors, participants will learn how to grow their microbusiness in a supportive environment and showcase their business at local marketplaces.
