Public Interest Disclosure Procedures

The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) is an agency subject to the Public Interest Disclosure Act 2013 (PID Act). Under the PID Act, the NDIA is required to prepare procedures for facilitating and dealing with public interest disclosures relating to the NDIA.

These procedures explain:

  • what a public interest disclosure is and who may make them
  • how and to whom public interest disclosures can be made
  • what happens after a person makes a public interest disclosure in relation to the NDIA.
